Wellborn, My Hometown
WELLBORN community developed on the East side of Suwannee County and was at its commercial peak when calendars turned from 1800s to 1900's. Today, a century later, it is a sleepy rural hometown where an increasing number of transplants have found joy and contentment amongst the old original families "kids" who opted stay on the family farm.
A monthly newsletter, Wellborn Whisper, is mailed to every Wellborn Postal Customer as a community service from the Wellborn United Methodist Church.

Wellborn Community Association
Membership in the Wellborn Community Association (WCA) is free and open to residents of Wellborn and its surrounding areas. We are dedicated to enhancing community life and caring for the needs of the less fortunate as means permit. There are no paid position; all members are volunteers.
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month in the Community Center Buiding at 1340 - 8th Avenue at 7:00 pm, except for July and August.
