Wellborn Community Association
Membership in the Wellborn Community Association (WCA) is free and open to residents of Wellborn and its surrounding areas. We are dedicated to enhancing community life and caring for the needs of the less fortunate as means permit. There are no paid position; all members are volunteers.
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month in the Community Center Buiding at 1340 - 8th Avenue at 7:00 pm, except for July and August.
The WCA hosts a monthly blueberry pancake breakfast on the first Saturday of each month from 7 to 10 am. $5 for adults and $3 for children buys blueberry pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee plus lots of good breakfast conversation.
Annual activities are: Children's Easter Egg Hunt, Children's Halloween Party, Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Children's Christmas Party and a Spring and Fall Community Yard Sale.
Our biggest activity is the Wellborn Blueberry Festival, held the first Friday and Saturday of June each year, which draws participants and vendors from all over Florida and also Georgia and Alabama. Arts & crafts vendors, food vendors, bake-off contest, talent contest, parade, Little Miss & Mr. Blueberry, children's games and crafts, entertainment, blueberry pies, cobbler, ice cream, fudge, jelly, and syrup are just some of the features of the blueberry festival.

Our building is available to use for business or group meetings, children's parties, holiday - birthday - retirement parties, and reunions. Call Jack Allred at 386-963-4322.
